• • Kei: A lovely faerie with a very tolerant disposition in regards to Corian’s prying. She was the first fantastical creature he’d ever met, and while he’s not a very affectionate person, he has an odd attachment to her that might even lean possessive.

  

  • Saoirse: Demigod and excellent conversationalist. She tends to tempt Corian in the best of ways—enough to keep his attention and enough to keep her intact. Distantly, if asked when extremely distracted, Corian might accidentally call her something like a friend.

  

  • Murdock: Corian is quite sure he’s never met a thief like Murdock. He likes to tease and harass Corian to a dangerous degree, but manages to talk his way around getting genuinely hurt (excluding one stabbing incident that incidentally led to…). They’ve recently become lovers. Corian despises the word “boyfriend.”

  

  • Feathers: Corian’s guardian angel, much to their chagrin. He was sent to watch over him, keep him from harm—the herm that comes from inadvertently predicting future events in his writing. They’re at odds, to say the least.

  

  • Viola: A magician with a quick tongue, she’s one of the only young people that Corian can stand to be around for very long. He’d even go so far as to say he’d willingly remain in her company.
